++Base your count off of how many items and pieces you want included! If you would like both the front and back of a certain clothing item included that counts as 2. So, if you have 19 items and 3 of them you would like both front and back, then that is a count of 22.

The first quilt pictured features clothing my son wore in his 1st Year and started with 23 pieces of clothing. I like to keep some items as “functional” (pockets, snaps, etc.) so your child can choose to store stuffed animals and other toys in them while cuddling!! 

The total quilt dimensions will vary depending on the number and size of clothing items. Every quilt is a unique quilt. You can include your favorite baby pajamas, onesies, dresses, hats, bibs or other clothes. 

The back of the quilt will be a thick flannel or fleece fabric. If you would like Minky the price is slightly higher. Let me know if you have a preference for back fabric color.

I have the ability to embroider a name, date of birth, and/or short message on the quilt. This is included in the price.

How it works:
1) Buy the quilt. ++Base your count off of how many items and pieces you want included! If you would like both the front and back of a certain clothing item included that counts as 2. So if you have 19 items and 3 of them you would like both front and back, then that is a count of 22. **Please note that the pictures in this listing are given as an examples of a previous quilts. Your quilt will look different, based on the clothes and colors you want used.

2) If you have specific outfits that you would like left whole, please let me know. I will do my very best to fit those outfits whole into our pattern. If I cannot make a certain outfit work I will discuss this with you in a Conversation. I can work small hats, booties and bibs into a square by putting a back piece on them. I can also use the back of items for your squares (see the froggy bottom in my sample), you may have ruffled bottom pants for a girl - let me know if that is your preference for a certain items. Do not cut anything before sending!!

3) Check your clothes. Make sure there are not stains in any main area of the items. It will show up and I cannot guarantee that I can cut the stained area off! If you prefer that the back of a clothing item show on the quilt, please let me know up front. Items with zippers (for example, sleepers) do not always sit flat on a quilt. I am fine with including these items, please just be aware that they may not lay flat. I like to leave pockets, buttons and snaps as “usable” items on the quilt. Some necklines may also be left open (for a stuffed animal to hang out in!). **Please, please do not cut or trim the clothes yourself. Send them whole and I will cut them.** If you have any other questions about clothing items or special requests please let me know.

4) Please make sure the clothes are clean when you send them. It is best to wash them in plain WATER only, no softener or detergent please (the interfacing on the back will not stick). I may wash the clothes again, but I will not try to get stains out. If there are any clothing items that cannot be washed, please let me know.

5) Send me the clothing items you want on the quilt. If you have a few items that you are unsure about, you can send a few extras and I will give you my opinion on what can work best.

6) As soon as you purchase the quilt, I will send you my address so you can mail your items. I will let you know my estimated processing time so you can make sure to keep your place in line and get your clothes to me by the date I plan to start your quilt. You can use any shipping method you choose and if you are local we can arrange a time to drop off your items to me.

7) I will send the finished quilt back to you when finished. I promise it will be a treasure!
