Custom Handprint Quilt, First Year Handprint Quilt, lasting memory quilt, lap quilt, throw quilt, personalized by you with handprints.
My friends are having a baby girl and this is the shower gift I made for them! This quilt is meant to create a lasting memory for your child throughout their First Year! It will include a Handprint or Footprint Square which is embroidered with each month of their First Year (Newborn, 1 month - 11 months, and One Year Old). If you know the babies name, I can also embroider the child's name in a larger font at the top of the quilt (or I can embroider "Baby Girl", "Baby Boy" or "Baby lastname"). I would be thrilled to make one for you!
The SAMPLE quilt pictured show the styles and colors chosen by me for a baby girl gift. Your quilt will be customized to your color and theme be it pinks, blues, neutrals, sports, dance, hobbies and/or team colors. If I can find the fabric, we can match your needs! The quilts are made with 100% Cotton fabric and cotton batting in between. I straight-line quilt, so the beauty of your handprints or footprints are not interrupted by my stitching. They are warm and cozy, perfect for a throw on the couch. They would even make a beautiful wall hanging and the perfect School Auction Item! Order one for your next baby, baby shower or family/friend gift!
Once you place your custom order, we will decide on your theme and colors. I can send you fabric pictures, if you prefer.
PLEASE NOTE: The handprints (or footprints for little ones) must be made with Fabric Paint (can be purchased at local craft stores and they are non-toxic) and any writing with a Fabric Pen. In the earlier months, footprints are so easy to do, just have someone to help you!!

• Newborn, 1 month - 11 months, and One Year Old, 13 Handprint Squares – Quilt will measure 40” x 40”
NOTE: all of the measurements are approximate!
Easy to tote and easy to wash! I recommend washing in cool water, gentle cycle, and tumble dry low. Or you can hang it out on the line to dry too. Your quilt will arrive having been machine washed and dried to achieve that soft, puffy quilted look.
All of my quilts are handmade with premium quilters cotton, warm and natural batting, and neutral coordinating backing (I can provide a cotton or flannel backing).
Please allow 5 - 6 weeks for quilt to be created and then mailed to your home. Wait could be longer depending upon current wait list of clients and projects – I will always give you an estimate on custom orders.
